Opening the door to apply for grants awarded to the Nile Basin countries
Alexandria University announces scholarships for Nile Basin students to obtain master’s and doctorate degrees from Alexandria University for the academic year 2020/2021 on a competitive basis. The scholarship includes exemption from university expenses only for a maximum period of study (3 years to obtain a master’s degree), and (5 years To obtain a PhD), given that the scholarships cover study expenses only, that the student should bear the expenses of travel, accommodation, living and health insurance.
Applicants must fill in the application forms and download copies of their educational certificates and a medical certificate free of HIV.
Eligible countries: Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Egypt, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea and Kenya
Language Requirement: Fluency in the language of study (Arabic or English) is a must.
Note: Applicant from non speaking Arabic and English countries should submit a certificate of fluency in either Arabic or English language.

Application Deadline: Note that the deadline for receiving applications is May 31, 2020
Preference: preference will be for students who have a GPA of cumulative “B” (65% – 74%) or higher, or have higher degrees in the field of specialization.
